Correspondence

One address, and a person at the other end.

There is no form with twenty fields and no automatic reply. Write the way you would write to a colleague. Short is welcome.

hello@kirilov.studio

Next

What happens after you press send.

A person answers, and it is the person who will do the work.

  • An answer comes the next working day at the latest. If the real answer needs longer than that, the first one says when to expect it.
  • The first thing you get back is usually questions. They cost less than something built in the wrong direction.
  • Write in English or in Bulgarian. We reply in the language you used.
  • If you need a confidentiality agreement before the first conversation, send yours. We sign it inside the working day as a rule, unless it asks for more than confidentiality.
  • When we are not right for the work, you hear it in the first reply. It will also say where we think you should look, which is cheaper for both of us than three polite meetings.
  • Urgent goes in the first line. We always read the first line.
  • The money question has a page of its own: how work is priced here. It says which shape you would be offered and the one thing that moves the number.

Useful

What helps in a first letter.

None of it is required. It simply shortens the road to a useful answer.

  • What needs building, and who it is for.
  • What you have already tried, and why it did not hold.
  • Whether there is a date that does not move, and what stops it moving.
  • Who says the last word on your side.

The other addresses

For the game AURUM and anything around it, write to aurum@kirilov.studio. For security questions, see security.txt. Should a first letter need to stay sealed before any agreement exists, write two lines saying only that, and a channel gets agreed before you send anything else.

The studio sits in Sofia and works remotely just as happily, with neither a reception desk nor a call centre, because behind either of them you would reach somebody other than the person doing the work. If you would rather talk, write two lines and a time comes back for a video call, or for a table in Sofia.

The formalities

Who stands behind this site.

Bulgarian commercial law asks a trader to publish these lines somewhere a reader can find them, so they sit on this page rather than in small type at the bottom of every other one.

  • Company. СТУДИО КИРИЛОВ ЕООД, a single-member limited liability company under Bulgarian law. It is entered in the commercial register kept by the Registry Agency.
  • Company number (ЕИК). 208911968
  • Registered seat and management address. 96 Kostenski Vodopad Street, floor 6, flat 42, Triaditsa, 1404 Sofia, Bulgaria
  • Manager. Kalin Kirilov
  • Email. hello@kirilov.studio

Every engagement is signed with that company, and Bulgarian law governs it unless the two of us settle on a different one inside the Union.

The beginning

Tell us about the work.
