Our own titles

The one thing we make only for ourselves.

Consulting work has a client, and the client owns the scope, rightly. A game has none. The scope, the taste, the deadline and the last comma are ours, and what a studio does with that is the fairest way to read what it will do with yours.

The rule

Every game gets a world of its own.

Each title lives at its own address, with the language and the rules that belong to it, because a world does not fit inside somebody else’s frame. The studio is the publisher and signs underneath. Everything above the signature belongs to the game.

One world is open so far, and the ones behind it are already in the making. This page will carry a second name on the day it has an address of its own, and not a day earlier.

The world behind that address is written here and runs from machines this studio raises and watches by itself. Once a month the backup is put back on a throwaway database and what comes out of it is counted against the living world, because a backup nobody has ever restored is only a hope.

The address

The world is already open. The game is not.

AURUM has not been released. Until it is, the world carries everything there is to know, and anyone who wants word on the day the doors open can write to aurum@kirilov.studio.
